Moving back to this area in 1991, he and his wife, Cecile, purchased the family real estate business. He values the small town atmosphere where the emphasis is on quality of life, family, friends, involvement, and personal accomplishments.

Cecile Folkerson, a native Texan, is a licensed agent and Co-Owner of Folkerson Property Management Ltd.. Her family arrived in the Fort Hood area in 1964 where they quickly became involved in local politics. Cecile graduated from Ellison High School and the University of Mary Harden-Baylor with a degree in Accounting and was an Administrative Assistant to State Representative Stan Schlueter. She also worked with Gulf Coast Conservation Association in Houston.

In addition to her company responsibilities, Cecile is active in local organizations and the activities of their two children.
